Tlumocnici.com is a group of Prague-based conference interpreters and translators who have been working together since the early '90s. We are all members of the Czech Association of Conference Interpreters - ASKOT; to join ASKOT, one must complete a sponsorship-based peer review. Most of us have passed highly competitive tests to become accredited with the interpretation services of the EU institutions, and may work in the European Parliament, European Council and the European Court of Justice.
Apart from saving on referral fees, why do you get better value with us than with a translation agency? Most translation agencies include interpreters in their database based on a recommendation or a resume. Membership of tlumocnici.com is by invitation only; we only invite interpreters we have worked with on a regular basis and can vouch for.
If none of us is available or has the right language combination, we will refer you to a colleague for free. If you need sound equipment and conference technicians, we'll refer you to a trusted provider.
